“I am looking forward to joining The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Parade in
BROWARD Fl this Saturday. The ACS is doing a commendable job in helping and empowering the cancer patients
and it’s my honor to be able to be a part of it”, stated The Black Bon Jovi a.k.a. The Cancer Killa. THE BLACK BON JOVI“We are all looking forward to a cancer free world in the near future and the only way to predict the future is to help create it. Together with ACS, we are hopeful we would be able to raise more awareness about the menacing ailment and support as many cancer patients as possible. It’s all about spreading positive energy to the ones that are in need.” A strong advocate for cancer patients, Dominic Smith a.k.a. The Black Bon Jovi began his career in music after his beloved aunt was diagnosed with cancer. As her caretaker, he would often try to inspire her and mostly through music. (In Frame: Dominic Smith aka “The Black Bon Jovi”) The most common track that he used to sing on loop that time was the famous “Livin’ On A Prayer” by the great Bon Jovi. This is when Smith’s aunt coined the name “The Black Bon Jovi” in reference to the comforting lyrics of the song. After his aunt passed away, Smith adopted the nickname given by her and embarked on a mission to help those afflicted by cancer, especially through his music. In 2019, he teamed up with the American Cancer Society to help cancer patients through his hit single “Cancer Survivor”.
KICK CANCERS ASS

A part of the proceeds from the single was donated to the Southeast Region of the American Cancer Society. Later that year, he had also performed in The 2019 Cancer Survivor Celebrity Kickball Fundraiser Tour in support of the cancer patients. For more information, please visit the Event Website Here.
